1) Summary
Aegis is operationalizing a Dynamic Threat Mitigation (DTM) program that continuously senses adversarial pressure and adapts defenses across our SaaS platform. We pair Continuous Automated Red-Teaming (CART) with Post-Quantum Engineering (PQE) to validate controls under real kill chains while migrating to crypto-agile, PQC-ready trust. DTM is the control plane that ingests signals, makes risk-aware decisions, and enforces policy.
2) Problem
- Attack surfaces change daily; point-in-time tests miss drift.
- Long-lived data and trust anchors face quantum-era risks.
- Legacy stacks lack crypto-agility and explainable rollout governance.
3) Solution (DTM + CART + PQE)
- DTMPrice: Threat-centric decision and enforcement plane; evidence-backed policy.
- CARTPrice-Oquindo: Always-on automated adversary simulations; promotion gates and rollback triggers.
- PQEPrice-Oquindo: SaaS-native crypto-agility with hybrid PQC modes, interoperability playbooks, and measurable SLOs.
4) 90/180/365-Day Milestones
0–90 DaysDiscover, Instrument, Baseline
- Stand up crypto discovery + CART harness; map attack paths → critical assets.
- Define target policies (PQC algorithms, hybrid modes, guardrail thresholds).
- Pilot CART gates on top 20 services; publish evidence dashboards.
91–180 DaysHybridize, Harden, Validate
- Enable hybrid PQC in gateways/mesh for prioritized flows.
- Expand CART coverage; make promotions contingent on CART pass criteria.
- Interop test matrix across partners; publish latency/CPU SLOs.
181–365 DaysScale, Certify, Enforce
- CI/CD canaries and enforced deprecation windows for classical-only paths.
- Supplier intake requires PQC readiness; external attestations prepared.
5) KPIs / SLOs
- Coverage: % services under CART; % traffic under crypto-agile control.
- Risk: Mean exception age; # high-risk classical dependencies.
- Performance: Δ handshake latency; CPU overhead within SLO.
- Interop: Hybrid negotiation success rate; partner test pass rate.
- Governance: Evidence completeness; approval lead time; rollback MTTR.
6) Risks & Mitigations
| Risk | Mitigation |
|---|---|
| Interop failures | Hybrid modes, canary lanes, negotiated fallbacks. |
| Performance regressions | Performance SLOs, capacity buffers, targeted optimizations. |
| Vendor lag | Contractual PQC SLAs, wrappers, alternate providers. |
| Shadow crypto usage | Network sampling, SBOMs, CA logs, developer education. |
7) Investment & Asks
- Approve 0–90 plan; fund interop lab + performance harness; assign service owners; set org-wide deprecation windows.
