DTM™

Ethical Framework & Compliance

Governance for the responsible use of AI in counter-terrorism.

Grounded in Academic Rigor

The DTM™ platform operates in strict accordance with the principles and protocols established in the "GCTI Ethical AI Use Guide" (Price, T., 2024). This ensures all analytics, recommendations, and simulations adhere to the highest ethical standards for transparency, accountability, and human rights.

Core Ethical Principles

The four pillars guiding the ethical design and deployment of the DTM™ model.

Transparency

AI algorithms must be understandable and open for inspection, especially in sensitive areas like counter-terrorism. This fosters public trust and cooperation.

Accountability

Establish clear responsibility for the decisions and actions of AI technologies. This includes robust frameworks to address the legal and ethical implications of any erroneous AI decisions.

Non-Discrimination

AI systems must avoid biases that can lead to discriminatory outcomes. Data inputs and algorithmic designs are continuously reassessed to ensure they are fair and unbiased.

Proportionality

The benefits of using AI in counter-terrorism must be carefully balanced against potential infringements on individual rights. System use is calibrated to be proportional to the threat level.
